POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN NEURODEVELOPMENT
The Davy team is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study acquisition of cell identities in innovative mouse and human brain organoid models in the frame of the Cell-ID research program whose main goal is to deploy interceptive medicine in the field of pediatric brain cancer. The proposed project is part of the CELL EXP challenge and includes methodologies in the fields of tissue engineering, single cell transcriptomics, as well as advanced imaging.

About our research
Our main research goal is to characterize molecular mechanisms that control neurogenesis and gliogenesis during physiological or pathological mammalian brain development.
We currently focus on a cell-cell communication pathway and on a particular metabolic pathway that has close links with epigenetics.
Part of our research is dedicated to develop innovative in vivo and in vitro models and experimental approaches to address specific biological questions within the Cell-ID community.
About us
The Center for Integrative Biology is one of the main institutes for basic science in Toulouse. Research at the CBI is multidisciplinary, from molecular, cellular and developmental biology to animal cognition and collective behavior. Toulouse is a lively city in the south of France.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in single cell transcriptomics. Knowledge of developmental biology and an interest in neurodevelopment would be an added value. The position is open for up to 3 years.
How to apply
Send a cover letter, a CV and 3 reference names to alice.davy@utoulouse.fr
